Registered Kinesiologist, Certified Exercise Physiologist

Sarah is a registered kinesiologist who grew up in Cornwall and graduated from Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School in 2011. Upon graduation, she attended Brock University and obtained an Honours Bachelor degree in Kinesiology. She then became a Certified Exercise Physiologist after completing the Exercise Science for Health and Performance program at Niagara College.

Sarah has experience working with clientele in the physiotherapy setting, directing clients through their physiotherapy treatments and helping them achieve greater function once recovered through personalized exercise programs for all levels. She also has experience working with varsity and professional athletes, as she was the trainer with the Niagara College Varsity Women’s Volleyball Team and with the Niagara River Lions professional basketball team. Sarah herself was a varsity athlete, having been a member of the Brock University Women’s Lacrosse team during her time there.

At Cotton Mill Rehab, Sarah offers personal training sessions, group fitness classes, and works alongside our physiotherapist. Sarah’s knowledge about exercise and physiology, and her certifications in functional movement assessments and treatments, set her exercise programming apart from other trainers as she is able to properly prescribe a personalized exercise program in a way to reduce risk of injury or re-injury following treatment.
